So Uncle Dad at work here FINALLY admitted he was WRONG about something! This is an epic event unto itself. Now, he “claims” he wasn’t “wrong” but he was missing a step that he didn’t think he was missing. But, that all boils down to “He made a MISTAKE!!” and finally owned up to it. Life, will never be the same again really.

So, I’ve learned an important lesson in Bilingual studies. Now, in America we take our language for granted and we tend to have a bad habit of corrupting, murdering and mutilating our own language with no problems. For example…

What’s up? Which is a fast way of saying “What is going on?” has been mutilated in popular culture today to “sup?” Now, we also butcher other such things as in “Anyone” is now “ne1?” or “any1?”. Now, I’ve touched in on this before I know, and that’s all good and dandy but, this is about a whole knew topic.

So, True.com, Match.com and all these other online dating services keep popping up all over the place. I haven’t used them, but they’re a bit odd none the less. The reason I say this is, every time I check my MSN hotmail, I see ad’s for them. everytime I log onto various game sites, I see Ad’s for them.

I accept the fact they wanna get their names out there. they wanna showcase their skeelz. they wanna get business. they wanna…take yer money.

It’s prostitution of the new age. I’m good with that. I can handle that.

But, seriously, can someone tell me something…

I’m sorry, but if yer gonna advertise to find people dates, STOP PUTTING PAMELA ANDERSON TWINS on your ad’s. Stop trying to tell people that gals like THAT are on yer service ,because if they are..they have GOT to be trying to only find an old fat guy with tons of money. I’m sure you won’t see that on your member profile though:

Somehow Joe, I don’t think that’ll make it onto the profile. Instead, it would read:

Now, I had to go to their site today to see what other true facts they have. However, I refuse to sign up, because as noted with their ad’s, it would be a lie anyhow.

So, Practice, from what I’m told, makes perfect.

Well, despite that, I’ve yet to hear a Doctor say he is no longer practicing, meaning medicine is far from perfect.

That aside, I’ve been doing more practice in Photoshop, creating basic backgrounds, designs, etc.. Ya know, typical stuff like nifty neato effects. Water, lightening, text effects, etc..

So, with that out of the way, here’s a list of the one’s I made tonight being goofy:

**NOTE** My personal favorite is #2, I just like it. Fairly Simplistic with enough going on in the background if you get bored. Otherwise, you can focus on the gal in front. Prolly shoulda blurred the background image slightly, but I like the over all look.

**NOTE** So, #3 turned out to be ironic since I don’t watch the show. Apparently, one of the few things this character focus’ on is the Yin/Yang. I didn’t realize that…I just used it as filler since my original idea hadn’t worked out (don’t ask….I’m still gonna TRY it on another pic). So while I didn’t realize it, I did add an element of her character I wasn’t aware of.

**NOTE** #4 is my second favorite. I just like the image, and it gives her two “sides”. one looking upward into the distance sorta has a “strong” character look, a feel as if she’s in control looking off into the future with eyes wide opened. While the main picture of her, in the forground, gives her a look more like she’s lost, and has no control. So I just like the contrast.

So, one thing I did was to create 2 pictures (intended to be Background Images for a Desktop) for a friend who’s a Naruto Fan. Now, I personally don’t know the series well at all (seen all of like 3 episodes maybe). =/ So, I just had to go look for pictures on the web.

After a very brief picture exploration, I found a small horde of pics, and went about saving them randomly. Then went back and sorted through them to decide on the pics I wanted to use. Now, I’m not a big “mess” fan on images, so, I originally just took one that looked near, but wanted to do something interesting. So, to that end, I decided on a Hockney type effect. I went out to google and looked for “Polaroid Images” and found a decent “flat” image of a Polaroid picture taken. Cropped out the center, and went about importing the images I wanted to use into that space (with a slightly black background grown over to give the images a “boxed off” feel, I don’t like polaroids that don’t look like they “end” if part of the picture is white. Go figure.

Anyhow, David Hockney is an Artist who created a “Grand Canyon” Picture by taking 60 other pictures and merging them into one “big” picture.

A Bigger Grand Canyon, a series of 60 paintings combined to produce one enormous picture, was bought by the National Gallery of Australia for $4.6 million.

To this end I created Sasuke One and Sasuke Two.

Course, because I’m more of a Dakaiju Fan, I also went to ceate my own Godzilla Compilation.

The Sasuke One Image was somewhat simple really. Keeping it a little less cluttered. However, since apparently one of the major features of Naruto is their “summons” (hand gestures in which they call forth greater powers) I wanted to add some of this into the picture, so thusly was born Sasuke Two.

So, these aren’t the greatest really, and it’s just one picture of a friend I was playing with tonight. So, I created:

And, while I’m not fond of this one…it’s still to obvious, but still working on merging pictures of different types (color to Black and White, Black and white to lighter Black and White, Black and White to “chalky Backgrounds” etc..)
